Calls of Duty Modern Warfare 2 (PC)
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is the third title in the Call of Duty series, developed and published by Infinity Ward. It was released on November 8, 2009 for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. The game is set in a fictional near-future setting during an ongoing war between a multinational military coalition and a terrorist organisation. Players take control of a new protagonist, Captain Nikolai Vasilyev, as part of the 2nd Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment. During the course of the game, the player is given missions from the United States Marine Corps and the Russian Armed Forces.
In February 2008, the game was leaked online in an unfinished state before its release. In order to prevent further distribution, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare was withdrawn from sale in April 2008. In June 2009, Infinity Ward released a PC demo, which had many of the leaked features present, but had a few remaining elements that had been absent in previous leaks. The full game launched on November 8, 2009, as a part of the Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare franchise. The PC demo was released on September 1, 2010.
